Quick Playoff Recap

Hitmen are good. Other top seeds…not so good.

Here’s some of the major hits and upsets of the past weekend in the UBA Playoffs.

  1. Southeast: Defending Champions move right on through. G-Town Heavy Hitters make it through the first round, where they will be going up against The Hitmen, who are the #1 Seed in the Southeast Conference. This is far and away going to be the matchup to watch.
  2. Central: Top Two Seeds get through; Outrage does not. Impact and High Powered are on their way to getting to Battle Bowl, if they defeat 2 more opponents. Outrage, who is a traditional power, will not be attending, as they get knocked off in the first round for the second straight year.
  3. Atlantic: No undefeated teams left. The New England Heat and Justus League headed into the playoffs as the top seeds because they didn’t lose a Tour Stop. They picked a royally bad time to lose their first. Only BC Crew and MOP Nation Militia stand as the teams who have won their district and are still standing in the playoffs. But at least that’s better than…
  4. Northeast: Well, this is a mess. Bulletproof is the ONLY Team left that has won their district. In fact, they are the only team with a bye that won their second round match. Yipes. With everyone else gone (the highest seed left that they will be playing is #10…which happens to be Secret Society, who got the Battle Bowl recently. Will they get back?
  5. Playoffs By The Numbers: We’ll be doing analysis of the Playoffs going back and moving ahead. Join us for the fun.
