UNDERGROUND BOWLING ASSOCIATION PRESENTS:

THE 2024 NORTHEAST REGION GAUNTLET

EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL OFFICIAL UBA MEMBERS.

Date: Saturday, June 22, 2024

Location: Lodi Lanes- 58 Terhune Ave, Lodi, NJ 07644

Time: 9AM CHECK-IN / 10AM START.

Entry Fee: $300 per team ($75 min deposit required). 1st come/1st serve basis

To Prepay: A $75 deposit or $300 pay in full must be submitted through the www.ubatv.tv website by locating NE GAUNTLET & submitting your deposit or pay in full. All balances must be paid at check-in (cash only). The deadline date for prepaying will be Wednesday, June 19^th 2024.

Eligibility:

Teams may consist of any 4 official UBA members from any team & any gender mix where the lowest 2 averages will receive hdcp off 70% of 240 & other 2 members bowl scratch.

Entering Average guidelines:

All members must use their highest average between their UBA entering & UBA rolling average. Members with no base entering average will enter at a 240 avg.

         ***20 TEAM MAX FIRST COME FIRST SERVE***

Format: (Subject to change based on final entry count)

12+ teams: TOP 8 advance……Top 4 cash

11- teams: TOP 4 advance……..Top 2 cash

OPENING ROUND – All teams will bowl 3 games. In the event of a tie for the last spot, ties will be broken by a 9^th & 10^th frame roll-off using the 2 listed scratch bowlers. Ties for all other positions will be determined by the highest team handicap game during the opening round. 

BRACKET ROUND:

8 teams (1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5)

4 teams (1v4, 2v3).

Winners of each match advance until there’s a final 2 teams

All ties during bracket round will be broken by having a 9^th & 10^th frame roll-off using the 2 listed scratch bowlers.

Incentives: Pots & brackets (hdcp & scr) will be available during the Opening round for all members competing.
