And now, what you all have been waiting for….or dreaded.
The 2020 Opt Out list has been posted. For those new to the UBA, the Opt Out period is the time that people can jump from one team to another without being suspended for any amount of time, Vs. if you do it any other time of the year, which means that you have to not participate in any UBA events for 90 days.
A few notes:
If you are a current member of a UBA Franchise looking to join another team & your name is not on this list, that means you did not submit an opt out form between June 1st & June 28th as instructed to via email back in May. You will now have to be released from your current franchise by your team representative to avoid a 90 day suspension.
Owners / Presidents / Secretaries:
1) Rosters: Please check your rosters on the UBA Database. If you do not see a member listed on your roster who opted into your team during the opt out period, please email [email protected] and provide the names of those members.
2) Transfers: At this time if you need to transfer a member off of the released bowlers list to your franchise, please email [email protected] and an admin will place the member(s) on your roster. Transfer requests for members of current franchises is NOT allowed. The transfer MUST be from the released bowlers list.
3) Roster submission: Please remember to submit your August roster between the 19th & 26th of July.
4) Members that are part of a UBA franchise not returning for the 2020-21 UBA Season are now free agents and may join a new team effective immediately. An email must be submitted requesting to be added to the team roster.
5) Members that are part of a UBA franchise not returning for the 2020-21 season are eligible to compete in Battle Bowl XI under their current team
