Here are the results after Tour Stop #6 in the NJ South District
NJ Drillers: 30, Bulletproof: 10
Usually first place goes here but…more on that in a moment….the Drillers get top billing this Tour Stop. And they will keep getting it if Thomas Whittaker (791), Steve Pavlinko Jr (761), Ryan Drews (750) and Mike Tash (714) keep putting up numbers like that. Daniel Rispoli (761), Mark Walser Jr (715) and John Piazza (700) shoot for Bullet Proof, but they get blasted by 378 on the wood and hence, relinquish second place to the Drillers.
Jer-Z Outlawz: 22, AC Express: 18
And AC’s lead gets sliced by 12 because the Outlawz win the wood by 5. This despite not shooting any 7’s (while AC’s Nick Magliore’s 792 and Jeremy Peterson’s 723 wraps up the scratch side). AC’s issue is that they lose the last handicap pair by 282 and take the loss by 5. The Outlaws move up to 10th while AC;s first placed margin over the Drillers is now 18.
Absolute Chaos: 40, Nation of Domination: 0
Absolute Chaos makes an absolute mess of the NOD. Timothy Sweet goes off with a 300 game to go with his 824 series as his pair wins by 400 (yipes). He gets plenty of help from Erik Gudmundsen (774), Thomas Briggs Jr (769), Aaron Bull (744), Larry Bernstein (708) and Joseph Wilson (702) as the Chaos-meisters move into the last playoff spot, which was held by NOD. Despite a 762 from Matthew Britton and a 710 from Phil Bobbitt, NOD plunges down to 9th. OUCH.
The Rejects: 38, Weekend Warriorz: 2
Brian Stanton’s 714 leads the Rejects to the 307 pin mauling. They move into the Top 5 while the Warriorz are still looking for their first tour stop win.
The Krakens: 32, On a Misson: 8
Eric Johnson’s 748 gives On A Mission the scratch team’s 8 points. No one else breaks a 640, which is how they lose the handicap pairs by a combined 622 pins. Shawn McCloud (729), Steve Turco (728), Richard Glass (724) and Kevin Voss (707) do most of the damage for the Krakens, who move up to 6th. OAM drop to 8th.
The Syndicate: 28, South Jersey Storm: 12
The SYndicate end a 2 match slide care of Alex Lief’s 744 series. Wilie Allen (726) and Joe Zotter III (715) do what they can, but they lose the wood by 108 and remain in 11th. The Syndicate move up to 7th but are only 15 points away from a Playoff spot.
