Here’s the results from Tour Stop #4 in the Bronx District
Tribe Called Nest: 34, Harlem Knights: 6
Alex Vargas was the star of the show. Again. His 719 keys the Tribe to a 261 pin domination over the Knights, who don’t get anyone hitting a 7. The Knights drop to last while the Tribe improve to 4-0 in tour stop play.
Apocalypse: 24, BOA: 16
Tony Macchietto and his 737 ensure that Apocalypse remain undefeated in Tour Stop play and remain in second place. Despite winning the handicap trios, BOA is now 26-54 for the past 2 tour stops because they get blown out by 352 on the scratch side. Apocalypse is 37 points away from the Tribe – but the Tribe has to take their bye week, so Apocalypse can make up the deficit when the Tribe have the Tour Stop off.
City Morgue: 24, New York Bombers: 16
The return of Anthony Espinosa keys the Morgue’s scratch squad to a 150 pin win, which buoys them to the overall victory. Like BOA, the Bombers take the handicap pairs, but they lose the wood by 42, and hence are still looking for their first Tour Stop win. The Morgue are now in a third placed tie with Controlled Chaos…
Royalty On the Lanes: 26, Controlled Chaos: 14
But they did themselves no favors as they lose a Royalty squad that all of the sudden has won 2 straight. Branden Henry’s 703 gives Royalty the win by 48 as they are only 18 points out of a playoff spot.
