So after listening to the feedback (which was hysterical), a few things:
- I’m expanding it to 50, so I can guarantee one team from each District….unless the teams stink, in which case, oh well.
- Just a reminder, I’m a ‘What have you done for me lately’ guy, so a team that did great last year but is bowling like dishwater now is not going to be on this list.
- While #1 is Tour Stop Play, Team Rankings / WCS / Tournament Results DO count here, because if they do well and a team uses these people in a UBA Tour Stop, then there’s no reason why not to think they will be just as good at a tour stop as they are in a tournament, etc.
- Keep in mind that with over 200 teams competing this season, this list represents less than the top 25% of the UBA. If you’re on here, consider that some kudos.
- This is for fun. Don’t get salty, get motivated.
- I love all feedback, so keep it coming 🙂
So here we go with this week’s rankings….
- Outrage (Was 2)
Eric Wallace is en fuego. And…hey look! They started in Team Rankings. Uh oh. - G.O.A.T. (Was 1)
Josh Pittman successfully defended the Heavyweight title and they came in 4th in the Southeast Team Relay. Let’s see if what they do this weekend allows them to jump back into first. - Murder Inc. (Was 4)
They didn’t have a great shooting day and still almost won 40. New tag champs next weekend? - Boardwalk Empire (NEW)
I had some of the DMV that low last week because I didn’t have all of the Tour Stop standings. I do now and the DMV shall be represented as such. - BC Crew (Was 6)
They have a test coming up this weekend. - Hitmen (Was 3)
Kevin Decker said his team had to prove themselves and was not a Top 5 team yet. His highest placed team finishing out of the Top 5 and his personal team finishing in dead last at the Team Relay would be proof of this. - Strike City (Was 5)
They have been in sleepyland this week. - The Arsenal (Was 8)
Team Ranking Match vs. DGF should be intriguing - High Octane (Was 7)
Midfinish at the Team Relay. Meh. - New England Heat (Was 10)
Regardless of people saying that the NE South is awful or this team isn’t that good, they have the most points in the UBA at 190. Will they be the first team to get to 200 this year? - Tribe Called Nest (Was 9)
They have an interesting match against a team they would traditionally lose to last season. How much have they improved? - Rival Alliance (Was 12)
We will see how legit they are this weekend. - Spartanberg Savages (Was 16)
Savages have 2 Southeast WCS Titles and placed 2 teams in the Top 10 at Team Relay. - Sub-Zero (Was 18)
Winning the Southeast Team Relay gets rewarded - AC Express (Was 17)
Very Impressive win last weekend - All In! (Was 21)
Building enough equity to survive the week off seems to be working well so far. Can they stay undefeated in Tour Stop play? - Pocket Kingz (NEW)
Going 40-0 and moving to second in the hardest district in the UBA gets you here. Can you stay here? - Motion 2 Strike (Was 11)
Taking the weekend off and not going to the Team Relay doesn’t help your cause here. - Conspiracy Theory (Was 13)
See Motion 2 Strike - Da Takeover (NEW)
All of a Sudden, Da Takeover had won 3 straight Tour Stops which puts them in a playoff spot. - #Violators (Was 14)
See Motion 2 Strike - The Franchise (Was 15)
Dormant week for The Franchise. Will get back up with an impressive win this weekend. - Da Garden Foundation (NEW)
No one, and I mean no one, wants to see them here. Except for DGF, of course. - Str8 Bizness Cartel (NEW)
Hey, look what happens when you play some matches after your tour stop off and start winning them. - Impact (Was 23)
They got surplanted by Outrage but they will be around for the long haul. - DC Mafia (NEW)
Tied with SBC for second behind the Empire. Can they make a move? - Synergy (Was 19)
Didn’t show up for Team Relay but did win their Team Ranking match. - Long Island Legends (NEW)
They are in third place – and they had their bye. Sleeper team? - Identity Crisis (Was 24)
They are playing this weekend. - MOP Nation Militia (NEW)
Hey, look who I put next to each other. Was it intentional?. Sure was. Heh heh heh heh heh. - Silent Killerz (Was 20)
Everything they didn’t want to see happen, happened. Now they need to get a win this weekend or they will continue to fall down the chute. - Apocalypse (Was 22)
They didn’t do anything bad. They just didn’t do anything. - Bulletproof (NEW)
Right now, this young team is making big moves. Can they be consistent? - Menace II Society (NEW)
They came in 9th at the relay and are now in a Playoff position. They have more than enough talent to get back to the Elite 8. You need to be careful about this team. - Latino All-Stars (NEW)
Which All-Star team are we getting? If they can find their consistency, they will be very dangerous. - The Fallout (NEW)
They have a game in hand and are close enough to give the New England Heat something to worry about if they take advantage during their bye week. - The Replacements (NEW)
They are in mid-season form, which is good. They can’t afford to be in post-season form. - Mass Destruction (NEW)
This weekend will be a good test on how the new retooled team looks. But the impressive thing is that they only have had 2 matches and are in second place in their district. - Pound 4 Pound (NEW)
What happened to the team with the killer instinct from last season? Find it, and you’ll find a path up the rankings. - Royal Flush (NEW)
Rudy Feliciano believes they are for real this time. I’ll believe him. For now. - Class Axe (NEW)
So it wasn’t a UBA event, but they were very impressive during the Area 51-8 Tournament. Can they starting moving up the mountain? - Ocean Wave (NEW)
Rebuild 2.0 is looking pretty good. - NJ Drillers (NEW)
They will figure it out and start moving up here. Right now though, they have looked sloppy, which is very uncharacteristic of a NJ Drillers team. - Mill City Mayhem (NEW)
They are within shouting range and have a game in hand. So does… - Reloaded (NEW)
On paper, this is the best team in the district. Eventually, it will be settled on the lanes but boy do they look strong early. - Smurf Nation (NEW)
They would be a lot higher but they screwed up last weekend. Don’t leave your bowling game at Parx Casino. - Philly Horsemen (NEW)
Another team with a game in hand over the first placed team. They are not in second – yet – but should be soon. - Complete Anarchy (NEW)
The Deep South standings are in complete anarchy right now, so this makes sense to me. - Reality Check (NEW)
Another team with a game in hand on first within range. A little shaky out of the gate but more than enough time to capture first. - The Militia (NEW)
It’s good to be recognized for their accomplishments. Can they stick around after their match this weekend?
