Here’s the results from Tour Stop #5 in the New England North
Identity Crisis: 24, MOP Nation Militia: 16
Identity Crisis sort of does what they need to do. They do take care of #2 MOP. Brian Egan (734), Chris Hansen (724), Jonathan Hester (715), and Shane Letendre (290 / 705) do enough to win the last games by a combined 171 and win the wood by 102. MOP almost took over first place with a 269/267/773 from Michael Berube Jr., a 277/744 from Tony Bennett and a 706 from Timothy Martin. Despite MOP winning two of the three trios, they remain in second because of the game 3 disaster.
Phoenix: 30, Mill City Mayhem: 10
But MOP stays in second because the 2 teams chasing them fail to get the job done. We start with Mill City Mayhem, who only get a 714 from Charlie Uthank Jr. as they get firebombed by Phoenix. Kenneth Gemmell (279/259/764), Chris Bull (721), and Kevin Gemmell (257/708) win the wood by 208 as Phoenix FINALLY gets their first win of the season. MCM falls to 4th, with them holding a slight 18 pin lead over Phoenix for the final playoff spot.
Auburn Maulers: 32, Reloaded: 8
Keith Layton shoots a trey and a 735 series for the Maulers, who jump over Reloaded to take third place. TJ Souze shoots a 708 for Reloaded, but only him and Paris Cook shoot over their average. They join the clump in the NE North: the difference between first and 6th is 54 points. ,and because first and second both have to take a one week bye, this promises to be a potential jumbled mess throughout the entire season.
