There’s a mix of news in New York Governor Mario Cuomo’s weekly meeting on Hot Spot states.
So the news:
- If you want to go the Akron Open in Ohio this weekend, and get back safely, you can – Ohio is still one of the safe states to go to.
- If you’ve been in Delaware or Maryland or want to come up to NJ for a tournament if you reside there, you can; they have both been removed from the mandatory quarantine list.
- In addition, Alaska, Arizona and Montana have also been removed from the quarantine list, so if you want to go there, no problem.
- However, if you want to spend the end of the Summer in Guam, you may need to add 2 weeks of quarantine to your vacation – Guam has been added to the list of naughty areas.
So as of now, here’s the updated quarantine location list: : Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, the Virgin Islands and Wisconsin.
